HUB BOLTS-BUTTON HEAD/17MM HEX -CHROMOLY
BUTTON HEAD BOLTS are an upgrade to standard socket head(allen) bolt. They feature a smooth, rounded finish.
There are three Button Head bolt styles available:
-A. Straight 3/8 (10mm) bolt-will fit 3/8 drop outs.
-B. Stepped 3/8 (10mm) to 14mm dropouts version
-C. The peg version. This bolt has a longer 14mm step section that’s long enough for both a 14mm peg as well as a 14mm dropout.
***When installing the 14mm peg bolt, make sure the shoulder of the bolt does not protrude past the inside of the drop out. If it does, you might need to add additional washers (see alternative view for proper spacing).
Failure to install this bolt properly will result in damage to your hub.
