The BWT Best Head Flex Cartridge Head is designed to give you the control you need over your municipal water. It features a unique, adjustable design that fits all BWT water+more filter cartridges, allowing you to swap and change filters if your needs, or water composition, change.

Beyond altering flavour, water which is too 'hard' or too 'soft' leads to espresso machine damage in the long term. Water hardness refers to a high-mineral water composition that may lead to limescale buildup whilst 'soft' refers to a low mineral content that can leach ions from a machine's metal components, resulting in corrosion.

This cartridge head seamlessly bridges your water mains and your water filter cartridge, featuring an automatic shut-off and leak-proof connections. It's built from high-quality, food-safe materials and engineered to minimise pressure loss, ensuring your machine always has the flow it needs. It also includes two integrated check valves to prevent backflow into your mains.

BWT Bestmax filtration cartridges use ion exchange technology to manage calcium and chlorine levels in water. The Besthead Flex Head features a clever, built-in bypass screw, allowing you to blend filtered and unfiltered water. This lets you "dial in" your water hardness, regardless of your local municipal supply. Conveniently, the pipe connections on the Flex are fully adjustable, so it'll fit into awkward, cramped cupboards under the sink.
