Avalon PSU3400-03 Power Supply | OEM Replacement for Canaan A1346 and A1366 Miners

The Avalon PSU3400-03 is the OEM-spec power supply unit for the Canaan Avalon A1346 and A1366 series miners. Built to deliver up to 3100W on the main rail with an 11.5-14.5V output and a secondary 12V / 200W auxiliary rail, the PSU3400-03 is the direct replacement when an A1346 / A1366 PSU fails in the field — same chassis dimensions, same connector pinout, same control protocol as the original.

Mining PSUs are the highest-failure-rate component on any ASIC miner — they live under continuous 90%+ load in elevated ambient temperature, switching at full duty cycle around the clock. The PSU3400-03 is the supported repair path: instead of waiting for warranty turnaround or attempting board-level repair on a failed PSU, swap in a fresh OEM unit and bring the miner back online the same day.

When You Need an Avalon PSU3400-03

  • A1346 / A1366 miner won't start — fans spin briefly then PSU shuts down, no hashboard activation.
  • Repeated overcurrent / overvoltage shutdowns reported in the miner controller logs.
  • PSU draws AC input but produces no DC output — secondary-side bulk caps failed or main switching MOSFET shorted.
  • Audible fan failure on the PSU — internal cooling fan can't be replaced, full PSU swap required.
  • Visible damage — burn marks, swollen capacitors, cracked PCB on the original PSU.

Electrical Specifications

  • AC input 200-300VAC, 16A — covers standard 220-240VAC mining infrastructure with derating headroom.
  • Main DC output 11.5-14.5V, up to 3100W — adjustable rail voltage for the hashboard core supply.
  • Auxiliary DC output 12V, 200W — powers the control board, fans, and indicator LEDs.
  • OEM-spec connector pinout — direct mate with A1346 / A1366 mainboard harness.
  • Built-in OCP / OVP / OTP protection — overcurrent, overvoltage, over-temperature shutdown.
  • Active PFC — better than 0.95 power factor at typical load.

FAQ — Avalon PSU3400-03

Q: Will the PSU3400-03 work on A1246 or older Avalon models?
A: No — the PSU3400-03 is specifically rated for the A1346 / A1366 power envelope. Older A1246 miners use a different PSU model with different power and connector spec — confirm before ordering.

Q: Can I run the PSU3400-03 at 110VAC?
A: No — the input range is 200-300VAC. 110VAC operation is not supported. North American mining farms typically use 240VAC service for this reason.

Q: How do I confirm a PSU failure vs a mainboard failure?
A: Disconnect the PSU output cables and measure the rails with a multimeter under no-load (some PSUs need a load to start, others self-test): if no output, PSU is failed. If output is present but the miner won't start, the failure is downstream on the mainboard or controller.

Q: What's the typical service life?
A: At continuous full-load mining duty, expect 18-36 months MTBF on the PSU — capacitor aging on the secondary side is the most common end-of-life failure mode.

Q: Bulk pricing for repair shops or farms?
A: Yes — email [email protected] for volume pricing on A13 series PSU orders.

Finally a ball my power chewers cannot destroy
Size: Medium
I have two dogs, an American Bully and an American Pit Bull Terrier, and both of them love to chew. Most balls last a very short time around here before they are shredded or missing big chunks. This one has actually held up. They chase it, tug on it and sit and chew on it, and it is still in one piece with no pieces breaking off. One of my favorite things is being able to put food inside. I add some kibble or small snacks, and they will happily sit and work on it for a long time. It keeps them busy, gives them something safe to chew, and they get a little reward while they play. When they are done, I just rinse it out and it is ready to go again. If you have strong jawed dogs that usually destroy toys, this ball is worth trying. Mine really enjoy it and I feel better knowing they finally have a ball that can keep up with them.

My dog LOVES this ball
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
Does your dog destroy tennis balls in seconds? Yes? Then your dog NEEDS this ball! It's squishy like a tennis ball, fits in ball launchers (even the cheap ones) and bounces when it hits the ground. My dog has been literally playing with this ball all day and not a single mark on it! The only bad thing is that it does not float. Definitely worth the money! Put it in your cart!

Perfect for ball demolishers
Size: Medium
The dogs love the chuck it brand. I don’t know what it’s made of but they go crazy over them. Will not play with another ball. Wonder if it’s “laced” with an addictive scent. Have pits. Very durable. Not able to chew to pieces. Last for about 6 months before there is a small break. I keep a back up because when the ball goes missing the house is in chaos. 😆 🤪

Chuckit medium rebound balls
Size: Medium
My 8 month old German shepherd dog loves these balls. They are easy to throw, they bounce great, they are very chewable! She keeps one in her mouth most of the time. It satisfies her need to chew and she does not chew other things. She drops it in the water and lets the hole fill up and drinks that way. The only problem that has caused is suction in her mouth and difficulty in dislodging it for her. However, she would be lost without it!
