The all-season, Honda Bogotá Pro Drystar® Jacket is engineered to deliver optimal protection, weather performance and comfort and incorporates Alpinestars’ Drystar® membrane for 100 percent waterproof and breathable performance.

The three-layer ‘liner to drop’ system allows the jacket to be configured to the conditions, while being quick and easy to use.

The Bogotá has large mesh panels to provide airflow and cooling, as well as extensive direct ventilation panels on the chest, full back, and arms, for effective climate control in any conditions.

  • From a construction standpoint, the jacket has a 3D ergonomic shape for superior freedom of movement, flexibility and ventilation. The Bogotá Pro Drystar® incorporates a technical Drystar® liner to provide superior breathability and exceptional wet weather performance. The jacket’s Drystar® liner can be worn over or under the main outer shell for real-world practicality and versatility. The Bogotá Pro Drystar® Jacket adapts to all riding needs and is the ideal all-season jacket. The jacket has a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment for effective all-weather performance and superior comfort in any weather conditions, wet or dry - designed to ensure that the outer shell always stays dry, with the Bogotá it’s goodbye to soggy gear.
  • The Honda Bogotá Pro Drystar® Jacket is Tech-Air® Ready and can accommodate the Tech-Air® 5 or Tech-Air® 3 Airbag System.
  • Constructed utilising 100% GRS certified recycled Nylon 6 materials.
  • The Bogotá Pro has extensive ventilation panels on the chest, full back and arms with a unique sleeve vent construction and wide mesh panel for effective climate control in any conditions.
  • The direct ventilation panels on the chest and arms can be operated with one hand for fast and effective climate control on the go.
  • Level 2 CE Nucleon Flex Pro shoulder and elbow armour for effective protection against impacts.
  • Lightweight 600D main shell for enhanced durability.
  • Reinforced 2-L 450D hard outer shell construction for enhanced long-life durability and light weight, with 600D woven reinforcements for additional durability in key areas.
  • The Honda Bogotá Pro Drystar is Tech-Air® Ready and incorporates strategically positioned stretch panel inserts, designed to accommodate Alpinestars’ Tech-Air® Airbag System.
  • Extensive stretch inserts around armpit area for optimum freedom of movement and an enhanced fit.
  • Pre-curved sleeves are engineered with a rotated design to follow the shape of the arm, delivering superior freedom of movement and range of motion while in the riding position.
  • Drystar® waterproof membrane provides both waterproofness, and breathability.
  • Detachable thermal liner (100g body, 60g full sleeves) allows the jacket to be configured to the conditions.
  • New inner construction for protection insert upgrades, including both back and chest inserts, as well as Alpinestars’ new, long back protector insert.
  • Designed with intuitive and functional zippers, connectors and ergonomic liner connection, closure systems, and wrists.
  • Innovative collar closure with adjustable self-centring snap closure for an optimised fit, double sided to keep it secured when opened or closed, and easy to adjust even with gloves on. Velcro on the collar, designed to keep the collar in the open position during warm weather conditions.
  • Ergonomically designed adjustable cuffs for ease of use with gloved hands.
  • Two front zippered pockets, two chest pockets, an inner waterproof document pocket and two inner pockets on the liner for safe and secure storage of valuables.

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
