HCPRO Performance PAG 150 UV is an 8 oz / 237 mL heavy-viscosity PAG compressor lubricant + UV leak detection dye. ISO VG 150 / SUS 300, polyalkylene glycol base, dye meets SAE J2297. For R-134a A/C systems specifying PAG 150 — heavy-duty trucks, fleet vehicles, certain commercial applications, and light HVAC equipment that uses R-134a. NOT for R-1234yf, hybrid, or EV compressors.

When to use it
During R-134a recharge when the OEM calls for PAG 150 AND fluorescent leak detection is needed. Diagnostic top-off: 1–2 oz per circuit. Full compressor replacement: 4–8 oz per OEM spec (heavy-duty systems often run higher capacities — check the manual). Inspect with UV-A light (365–400 nm).
Why PAG 150 UV vs PAG 100 UV or Universal UV
Heavy-duty compressors need heavier viscosity to maintain oil film under high pressure and high-load conditions. Running PAG 100 in a PAG 150 system causes premature compressor wear under load; running PAG 150 in a lighter system causes drag. When the OEM calls for 150, use 150.
