Bolt on Brighter: The Morimoto 2Banger A-Pillar LED system is the perfect solution for more light, aimed exactly where you want it. From long-range spot-lights for high speed driving to ditch lights to illuminate the side of the road, our A-Pillar kit is all about versatility. Select a set of high performance 2Banger LED pods in your choice of beam pattern, pair that with the brackets to make installation a breeze, and power it properly with our switched wire harness. Engineered Fitment: Morimoto's A-Pillar kit for the 09-14 Ford F-150 has been through numerous rounds of design, prototyping and testing directly on the truck to ensure perfect compatibility. Everything lines up with pre-existing mounting points to create an installation that is truly modification-free. Guaranteed. Yes, we agree this is a basic requirement, but you wouldn't believe the poor fitment we encountered from other well-known brands during development. It was mind blowing. Branches Beware: Each bracket is laser cut from 304 stainless steel, then powder coated. Put simply, the side mirrors on your Ram will rip off way before our A-Pillar kit even flexes a muscle. Performance: There are no "off the shelf" guts inside of a fancy housing here. Every element of the 2Banger is proprietary. LucidShape was used to optimize performance around the most modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Osram. Thermal dynamics have been optimized using SolidWorks. With two performance tiers, white or yellow output, and four distinct beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, and Flood), there is a 2Banger to suit every performance need and driving style. HXB Spot Beam: Illuminates far into the distance unlike anything else in their class. The HXB Spot comes standard with the most powerful Osram LEDs, which in combination with their advanced optics produces a beam pattern capable of penetrating up to 700 meters into your future. You will have a hard time out-running your ability to see with the 2Banger HXB Spots. HXB Combo Beam: Illuminates a clear path with medium range. The HXB Combo beam provides a blend of width and distance illumination making every day driving in the middle of nowhere far more comfortable. The hot spot and spread has been perfectly tuned to produce an ideal combo beam. The 2Banger HXB Combo is an excellent aid to any set of high-performance headlights. HXB Wide Beam: Illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle. The 2Banger Wide beam optics feature dual axis control. 1) for width, and 2) active hot spot control to project peak intensity right along the top of the beam pattern. The proper cutoff line and vertical gradient easily passes the latest SAE F regulation for safe and legal use as a fog light on public roads. The 2Banger HXB Wide beam delivers best-in-class combination of width, intensity, making it the most effective off-road capable, on-road compliant Dual-LED pod light in the world. HXB Flood Beam: Provides plenty of ambient light with coverage in every direction, making them the perfect solution for low-speed driving, rock crawling, back-up lights, or even illuminating your campgrounds. Flood optics do not project far into the distance, but are the undoubtedly the weapon of choice for comfortably illuminating everything in your local space. NCS Spot Beam: Illuminates well into the distance. The NCS Spot features a highly focused 5-degree hot spot that's surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam, making it the perfect weapon for long range visibility. While not quite as powerful as the HXB Spot (which uses Osram LEDs), when paired up with a set of NCS Combos, you will have no problems avoiding deer in the distance. NCS Combo Beam: Illuminates a clear path with medium range. The NCS Combo beam provides a blend of width and distance illumination making every day driving in the middle of nowhere far more comfortable. The oval hot spot and spread at beam center has been perfectly tuned to produce an ideal flood beam. The 2Banger NCS Combo is an excellent aid to any set of high-performance headlights. NCS Wide Beam: Illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle, making them a perfect complement to a set of high-performance Morimoto headlights. They produce a very wide beam to drastically improve visibility off to the sides of the road. Superior vertical gradient control eliminates glare to oncoming traffic, and when mounted in the fog light position and aimed appropriately, will meet the latest SAE standards for safe, legal use as a fog light on public roads. All Weather: The white-output version is ideal for all-around visibility. For those who desire optimal output in rain, snow, or fog--the Yellow-output version will slay in shady weather. Morimoto has opted for Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs that produce yellow light at the origin, which is the most effective way to penetrate through particles in the air without compromising output (Filtering white light through a yellow lens achieves the look, but no actual performance benefit in poor weather) Reliability: With power comes great responsibility. Extensive effort went into ensuring the reliability of the product. High power means high heat, which is why the 2Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB that maximizes heat-transfer to the radiator, which has been optimized through numerous rounds of thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to withstand flaking. The gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves all designed according to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. Street Legality: When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beam patterns will comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam. If you're looking for a high-performance street-legal LED pod to use as a fog light, the 2Banger wide beam model has been verified-compliant with the latest SAE-F regulation for on road use by Calcoast Labs in California. Power Up: The Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods have been developed from the ground up to set a new standard in their segment, and the same goes for the wire harness that comes standard with this kit. If you want the best, bingo. Not one component on the harness was overlooked for the sake of cost or simplicity. Triple sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with hanger. Proprietary over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse. DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals. Stainless steel power and ground terminals. Proprietary M-Spec push button switch with Yellow-LED backlight.

Another glimpse of the boy-behind-the-bat, with humor and heart; 4.5 stars
Format: Kindle
1st Line: "This is Gotham City." Review: This new graphic novel, of a pre-Batman Bruce Wayne as a kid, opens in a Gotham City already all but decimated by crime and corruption. But with all its horrors, the worst of them for the young, rich, highly-intelligent but otherwise nerdy Bruce Wayne, orphaned after the murders of his parents, is none other than the Gotham Preparatory School for the Really, Really Gifted - his middle school. Here, all the students have some form of super power or another (The Flash, Wonder Woman, Superman, Penguin, Catwoman, and more - all started off in middle grade here) ... except for Bruce, who only got into the school because his parents funded the building of it before their deaths, and remains a target for bullies for not having any powers of his own. But when fellow student Jack Napier, himself having no super powers except for conning his way into the school, begins bullying Bruce's friend, elementary student Dick Grayson, Bruce becomes determined to strike back - thus beginning his ascent to a career as a vigilante, even as his loyal butler Alfred and the school's vice-principal forbid it. But will Bruce get it together in time to foil Jack's plans for the Crime of the Semester? And what of Bane, Jack's new sidekick, who would be a formidable foe even for someone with superpowers? Bruce Wayne: Not Super is terrific; a comedic look at the young, super-smart yet geeky Bruce completely out of his element as a young kid, formerly with the attention span of a goldfish, who may have finally found his calling. Also nice are the glimpses of a number of future DC superhero icons in their youth, but the story really does belong to the humor of Bruce wanting to save his city, agreeing to take a hyperactive Robin in tow as his sidekick, with no knowledge of how to fight and an arsenal of weapons thrown together in minutes - and potentially of harm more to the user than the bad guy - all while Alfred says no and remains in constant threat of sending the future Batman to his room. The poor kid, after all, can't even put a bat costume together; in it, he's mistaken for everything from a badger to a rat to even a prairie dog. Bruce pushes past it all, his pluck and determination to save Gotham City one villain at a time his true calling, and among writer Stuart Gibbs glib and funny humor and Berat Pekmezci's bursting-with-color art, the very basic but heartfelt beginnings of the boy who'd grow to become The Bat shines through. It's really good. So good, I already itch for a sequel. 4.5/5 stars

Fun story with familiar characters
Format: Paperback
4 stars = Great! Might re-read. This was fun! I enjoyed the illustrations and getting to scan the crowd scenes for more DC characters. I enjoyed Bruce's journey. I didn't love the portrayal of Clark Kent here, but the rest of this was fun. I would definitely read more of these if there are going to be sequels. There's a one-star review here that is completely on target in their assessment of some of the liberties taken in the book. Buyer/reader will have to decide if those observations will lead you to skip this one or if you can set aside those internal inconsistencies to accept the story as is.

Fun for kids and those kids at heart!
Format: Paperback
When I was a kid around 8 or 9 years old, we would go to an outdoor theatre, a special treat. I remember the old 1960's era Batman movies playing on the screen. It was fun, exciting, heroic...all those things that made it pure enjoyment. When I think of recent Batman movies that have turned dark, deadly, desperate, all the fun has gone out of those experiences and I simply don't watch those movies. This is simply a long way of saying that this book, Bruce Wayne: Not Super, brought back all the fun I experienced as a kid. Here we have our hero, who doesn't think he is, who compares himself to everyone around him with supernatural abilities, and begins to grow desperate. The background story is essentially the same: dead parents, rotten town, etc. But we see life from his perspective and can root for him all the way. He goofs up, makes lots of mistakes and this makes him even more lovable. This book is prefect for readers young and old, and if this made into a movie, I guarantee you that I would watch it. Highly recommended.

Fun Story For Any Age Fan
Format: Paperback
Bruce Wayne is the only kid at his middle school without some kind of special powers. He wants to make a difference in Gotham but he thinks he doesn’t stand a chance compared to all of the other students with impressive skills. Bruce Wayne: Not Super follows Bruce’s journey to finding out what makes him special. This middle grade graphic novel is very well done. I was already familiar with much of the author, Stuart Gibbs’ work. His style and sense of humor carry over well to this type of comic. The illustrations pair nicely and are done in a lighter style than more adult Batman comics. Bruce Wayne: Not Super would be a good introductory book for younger Batman fans or a fun addition for collectors of any age to add to their stash. I don’t know if the author has worked with DC before but I’d love to see more collaborations in the future for more middle grade graphic novels. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you to NetGalley and DC Entertainment (DC Comics)!
