The M5 connector is the same type you’ll find on your home bleed kit and is compatible with both Shimano and SRAM MTB levers* plus the kit includes H2.5 and T10 keys. If you're running Magura, Tektro / TRP, or Shimano road levers then you'll need to an adaptor.

*Except for SRAM’s DB mineral oil brakes, which use a different thread.

To use the bleed kit, just fill with your preferred brake fluid and throw it in your riding grab-bag. When you feel your brakes start to get a bit squishy you can simply screw the bottle into your brake lever’s bleed port, unscrew the top cap, and give your lever a few flicks until the air stops bubbling through.
