Four Element Composition
This striking geometric work captures Mainie Jellett's mastery of interlocking planes and abstract form, created around 1930 during her most inventive period. Jellett was among the first Irish artists to fully embrace Cubism, translating the language of European modernism through a distinctly Irish sensibility. This is your chance to bring it home.
About the Artist
Mainie Jellett (1897–1944) was Dublin-born and Paris-trained, studying under André Lhote and Albert Gleizes at the height of the Cubist movement. She returned to Ireland determined to push beyond traditional landscape painting, creating abstract compositions that scandalized conservative Dublin society. Her work bridged Europe's radical experiments and Irish artistic identity, making her one of the 20th century's most underrated modernists.Tracked, securely packaged, delivered in 2-5 business days.
