Domein
Saint-Tropez, een pittoresk dorp in de Provence, heeft een rijke geschiedenis die diep geworteld is in een eeuwenoude legende. De Torpez-wijnmakerij, opgericht in 1908, maakt onlosmakelijk deel uit van deze traditie en brengt de smaken van de regio tot leven. Gelegen in een unieke natuurlijke omgeving, produceren de wijngaarden wijnen die de elegantie, balans en schoonheid van het terroir van Saint-Tropez weerspiegelen. De Torpez-wijnen belichamen niet alleen de essentie van het landschap, maar zijn ook een eerbetoon aan de rijke geschiedenis en cultuur van dit iconische dorp.

Bodem
Zand-klei gronden, ontstaan door de erosie van oude kristallijne ondergrond (500 miljoen jaar oud), oostelijke gneisen afgeleid van granieten in de heuvels van Saint-Tropez, en gneisen in het Massif des Maures.

Vinificatie
De druiven werden handmatig en machinaal geoogst, gevolgd door een zorgvuldige persing. Het sap werd gefermenteerd bij gecontroleerde temperaturen tussen 14° en 20°C om de aromatische complexiteit te behouden. Na de fermentatie bleef de wijn op de lies rijpen, met regelmatige bâtonnage, wat de textuur en de smaak vergrootte. De wijn onderging een koude stabilisatie voor 4-5 weken voordat hij werd gebotteld.

I place one tablet under my tongue at bedtime and let it slowly dissolve. It takes about 10 minutes to dissolve, and usually I am almost asleep by the time it has vanished. A good night’s sleep makes for a happy and productive day following.
