"Here's why AluBoxes are our go-to storage solutions..." –EXPEDITION OVERLAND
The AluBox 134L Aluminum Case is a storage and transport case handcrafted in Denmark from EN AW-5754 aluminum — a marine-grade, mid-strength alloy used across defense, offshore, and industrial sectors worldwide. Carried on expeditions across all seven continents, AluBox cases are the choice of serious overlanders, emergency services, and military logistics teams who need reliable protection without the weight penalty of steel or the fragility of plastic. Large volume with a well-proportioned footprint — one of the most practical sizes for extended expedition provisioning. Fits a full 14-day kitchen kit for two with room to spare.

Note: All listed dimensions include handles, latches, and hinges.
KEY FEATURES
- EN AW-5754 Marine-Grade Aluminum: The same alloy used in shipbuilding and food processing — non-reactive, non-hardening, and highly resistant to seawater corrosion and industrial atmospheres.
- Dust and Water Resistant: A rubber gasket seal keeps dust and water out — resistant to the elements but not submersible. The precision-bent ribbed walls and extruded base and upper rim add structural rigidity and further protect the seal.
- Cast Aluminum Stacking Corners: Heavy-duty corner castings double as stacking cleats — multiple AluBoxes lock together during transport and storage without shifting.
- Lockable Latches: Front-facing slam latches are padlock-compatible for securing contents in shared or unattended storage environments.
- Foam or Insulated Liner Compatible: Compatible with traditional die-cut foam and high-quality insulated liners — the insulated liner is validated for blood, vaccine, and pharmaceutical cold-chain transport.
- RuumX Divider System: Not yet available for this size. Compatible sizes: 42L, 60L, and 73L.
- Bear-Resistant Certification: The AluBox 42L is IGBC-certified bear resistant — submitted as the representative model because every AluBox is built from the same marine-grade EN AW-5754 aluminum with the same construction methods, regardless of size. The 42L was the only size sent for testing, but all cases share identical materials and build quality. IGBC certification is required for food storage compliance in many national parks and bear country areas.
- Inside or Outside Vehicle Ready: Mounts permanently or temporarily inside your vehicle or externally on roof racks. Compatible with the Eezi-Awn K9 AluBox Mount.
IDEAL FOR
- 14-day expedition provisioning for two with full meal prep
- Full overlanding camp setup: kitchen, shelter, and comfort gear
- Industrial or defense equipment transport with foam liner
- Base camp operations requiring organized multi-category supply management
IN THE BOX
- AluBox 134L Aluminum Case (lid and base)
COMPATIBILITY
RuumX Case Divider System not yet available for this size (currently available for 42L, 60L, and 73L). Mountable externally on most roof racks; specifically compatible with the Eezi-Awn K9 AluBox Mount. Foam inserts and insulated liners are available separately. All AluBox sizes share the same corner-casting profile and stack securely with other AluBox cases.

A fairytale classic made even better!
Format: Paperback
Embellishing on the original tale of Cinderella, Gail Levine has written an imaginative and touching story - a classic in its own right. While the traditional fairytale focuses on the magical rags-to-riches transformation of a scullery maid into a princess, Levine's heroine is very real in both her defeats and her triumphs. Ella is a wonderful character whose unwavering sense of humor and refusal to succumb make her an endearing heroine whom the reader eagerly follows through her journeys. The friendship that she shares with Prince Char, her struggles to break the curse placed on her at birth, the pain and the joy that she feels at each turn of events are drawn with a clarity and poignant charm that make this a unique story all its own. There is, of course, glass slippers, a ball, the pumpkin coach - but this story goes far beyond the original to become something more. It is not just about one magical night that makes a servant into a princess; it is about the life of a girl who is more than what she seems and has only to realize it for herself to make her wishes come true.
Ella Enchanted is a wonderful story for readers of all ages, and there is an amazing depth to this tale that cannot help but make you think. Despite the omnipresent existence of magic and the whimsical creatures that include everything from gnomes and elves to giants and ogres, the focus of the story is very real. We are, each of us, a little bit like Ella - struggling to be who we are while everything around us tries to make us otherwise. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who loves fairytales and children's books - especially to anyone who loves the story of Cinderella.

Timeless
Format: Hardcover
My first born daughter is literally named Ella after Ella Enchanted. This is the most meaningful children’s book I ever experienced in childhood and it continues to hold up as I have reread it to my Ella in parenthood. It’s still so fun and magical and heartfelt. Thank you Gail Carson Levine for this literary gem!

Beloved childhood classic for a reason
Format: Paperback
Not to give away my age, but I owned this book when I was younger and lent it to a friend and never got it back. I finally gave into my desire to own it again and purchased it from amazon. I'm so happy that I did. This book definitely holds up even after all these years. It's this kind of writing that helped me fall in love with the idea of being a writer. I've read some of Gail Carson Levine's other books and enjoyed them to varying degrees. I remember reading The Wish and thinking, even as a child, that it was incredibly bland. But Ella Enchanted is truly one of her gems.
It is heartfelt and well-written with a truly wonderful heroine. Now that I'm older I do see more of the problems. The writing is a lot simpler than I remember but I suppose that it needs to be for the reading level of the target audience so I won't count that as a negative. As with most young adult novels, it is on the shorter side. This leads to some awkward pacing and a lack of development. There's not really enough of her friend Areida or her adventures. The romance with Char is underdeveloped though conveyed skillfully enough that by the end I was very invested in the outcome. The ending and epilogue after the dramatic conclusion also come across as a little rushed. Still, I think it's a wonderful story for young girls and a truly inspiring heroine for them to identify with. For older readers, it's a pleasant diversion. The strength of the story is Ella and the way Levine writes the scenes that are meant to have a big emotional impact. I understand when people say the story meanders a bit and how it could be boring for some people. Levine doesn't do a great job with descriptions despite the complexity of the world she's imagined. It's difficult to really picture anything in your head based on the descriptions she gives. She's not a world-builder like the big name fantasy writers. She's more interested in the characters and the main plot arc for the heroine.
I would recommend this book for a reader or parent looking for a strong, believable female protagonist. It's not a great fantasy novel and it's a little underdeveloped but the individual scenes are well written and the emotion, lesson, and strong character arc are there. I'd also recommend getting the new version as there are great extras including information about the languages Levine developed for the various creatures in the world of Ella Enchanted. I don't remember these being included in the first edition.
