Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

Each bird in this large-scale bronze bird sculpture is individually cast using the traditional lost-wax method, which preserves the extraordinary feather-by-feather surface detail across wings, breast, and neck. The warm brown patina shifts between rich amber and deep dark brown across the textured surfaces, replicating the natural oxidation that develops on aged bronze in open landscape settings. Canada goose colouring is rendered with precision: the dark head and neck contrast against the paler body tones, entirely through tonal variation in the bronze finish rather than applied paint or overlay.
