Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished in Polychrome Patina

This polychrome bronze relief sculpture is cast using the lost-wax method, a process that captures every fold of drapery, every dish on the table surface, and every individual expression across the thirteen figures. The surface receives a layered cold-painted finish, applying muted washes of rust-red, blue, purple, and green across the robes and drapery, with metallic bronze highlights brought out on raised details. The result is a hand-finished bronze tableau that reads equally as a devotional object and a serious work of decorative art. The integrated rectangular plinth is finished in a stone-grey tone and carries an engraved dedicatory inscription. At 18kg, the piece has the authority of cast metal without requiring structural mounting.

Given its polychrome interior finish and considered scale, this sculpture is best placed indoors: on a mantelpiece, side console, library shelf, or as the focal point of a dedicated display niche.
