Will this replace my older Tsunami 500 pump?
Yes. The Mk2 motor cartridges are backward compatible with older Tsunami Mk1 housings, making upgrades quick and easy without re-plumbing your boat.
How do I clear an airlock in this pump?
The T500 (specifically the Mk2 version) features the X-Air™ Impeller, which is designed to automatically clear air bubbles from the pump and discharge line, eliminating the common "air-lock" failure found in standard pumps.
Note: Please verify your original part number and hose diameter (3/4") before purchasing to ensure fitment. This is a manual pump and requires a separate float switch or manual helm switch for operation.
