This case for the iPad Mini (2024 / 2021) is made of a combination of hard and flexible plastic. The back of the case is hard plastic, so the back of your device is well protected from scratches from, for example, small stones or other sharp objects that can lie on the same surface as your tablet. The sides of the case are made of flexible plastic, so you can easily use the buttons on the side of your device and easily take the case off and on. The flexible plastic is also shock absorbing which reduces the risk of damage in the event of accidental falls or losses.
The edge around the screen and camera is slightly raised, so that the two vulnerable areas are raised from flat surfaces. This also helps increase the chance of avoiding scratches and tears in the screen or camera lens.
