Your purchase provides a fair wage and life-changing community programs for artisans living in western Kenya.

Artisans in Kenya use several techniques to create their variety of beautiful handcrafts, including carving and hand painting.

Since 2003, SERRV International has partnered with artisans in Kenya, providing a long-term trading partnership and interest-free advance payment for our orders. Through sales of their products, nearly 150 soapstone carvers receive crafting and safety workshops, support for social programs for widows and orphans, and community improvement initiatives, including a tree seedling nursery. These talented artisans do everything by hand, with intricate details achieved from hand-drawn designs, chisels, small picks, and wood tools.
