Cet ouvrage est consacré à la prise en charge des tensions musculaires (ou contractures) par la thérapie manuelle. Cette technique est fondée sur un concept de thérapie manuelle largement diffusée en médecine manuelle en ostéopathie et kinésithérapie de ville.

Chacun des 9 chapitres de l'ouvrage est consacré à une région du corps (cou thorax épaule coude poignet et main région abdomino-lombale hanche genou cheville et pied) et adopte le plan suivant :
- action musculaire en situation de fonction
- recherche palpatoire de la contracture
- interprétation du bilan palpatoire et diagnostic
- traitement de la contracture.

3 grandes régions du corps sont examinées : cou et tronc membre supérieur et membre inférieur. Pour chaque région est proposée une introduction régionale pour chaque chapitre une introduction locale.

462 photographies réalisées en situation sont réparties sur les 9 chapitres. Ces photographies sont accompagnées d'un texte de légende très détaillé qui déroulent le geste (test et levée) étape par étape. Des croquis sont introduits pour illustrer la biomécanique.

First off, I am a man who has been searching high and low for a good "natural" deodorant. The smell (Santal Vanilla) is amazing and really wanted to like this deodorant more. However, it just does not last. I get about 6hrs out of this before it starts mixing with the body smells and by 12hrs I have to re-apply. And I am currently using it in the winter, not sure how it would last in the middle of a hot summer. Also, the stick is very hard and tacky. Like rubbing a blue racquetball on your pits. It literally pulls my hair out when applying. If you shave it might not be an issue. Anyway, I'll use up the rest of it but only for short occasions and won't be re-purchasing.

As with most deodorant, I was actually expecting a pretty potent smell with this. I'm very happy to report that's not the case. The scent is pleasant, but not overpowering. I just put a few swipes on before heading out or going to the gym, and I smell nice for the next few hours. Another nice thing about it, such as when going to the gym as I mentioned, is that it doesn't leave a bunch of nasty residue on my shirt or workout clothes. There's a little bit, sure. But not like some deodorants that leave a crap load of it. It's not that it's difficult to wash out. It's just that it's annoying. I don't really know how much I can say about a stick of deodorant. It smells nice, lasts a long time, and works great. Isn't that what it's all about, at the end of the day?
