ABOUT ferm LIVING
Born in Copenhagen by Trine Andersen, Ferm Living work with artisans from around the world, fusing their Scandinavian mindset with global skills and traditions. Their collections are defined by soft forms, rich textures and curious details that let you create composed atmospheres with a touch of the unexpected. From materials and processes to production and delivery, they challenge themselves to help shape a sustainable future, making it easier for you to make responsible choices. They create collections of furniture, accessories and lighting, so you can create space to feel comfortably you.
The brand was conceived in Copenhagen in the home of Trinie with wallpaper, or rather, a lack of it… In 2005, Trinie had just moved into a house with her husband, and just couldn’t seem to find a wallpaper that fit our taste. She therefore decided to make her own, which resulted in ten different wallpaper designs.
After applying to exhibit them at a trade fair in Denmark Trinie couldn’t afford to manufacture all ten designs, so armed with just one wallpaper and a handful of printouts ferm LIVING was created.
