Sacred Craft & Monastery Origin
This thangka carries the spiritual imprimatur of Kathok Monastery, one of the six great "mother" monasteries of the Nyingma school, renowned for its strict adherence to the Terma lineage. The original painting was created by a Lama painter from the Kham region, and this reproduction is made under the monastery's guidance for its devotees. The hand-sewn frame represents the tangible care and devotion infused into every piece, making it an authentic spiritual artifact, not merely a decoration.
