This oval, egg-shaped pendant is carved from ancient Fenland bog oak and inlaid at its centre with chips of Avebury sarsen stone — two of Britain’s most enduring ancestral materials brought together in a single piece.

The form is simple and intentional. Flat and smooth to the touch, it sits comfortably against the body, while the central sarsen inlay becomes a quiet focal point. The contrast between the near-black bog oak and the pale, weathered stone tells a story of time, landscape, and continuity.

This pendant was made not to be perfect, but to be felt — a grounding talisman for those who value connection to land, ancestry, and ancient places.

Materials & Ancestral Context

Bog Oak
Fenland bog oak is sub-fossil oak preserved for thousands of years in peat wetlands. Over time, minerals and tannins darken the wood, giving it its deep colour and remarkable durability. Each piece is finite, non-renewable, and shaped by both nature and history.

Avebury Sarsen Stone
Sarsen stone is the same silcrete material used in the Avebury stone circle and associated prehistoric monuments across southern England. Formed from hardened sandstone cemented with silica, sarsen is deeply tied to ritual landscapes, seasonal cycles, and ancestral gathering places.

Symbolism & Spiritual Meaning

The oval or egg shape has long symbolised:
• Birth and renewal
• Cycles of life
• Potential and transformation

Combined with sarsen — a stone linked to sacred sites and communal memory — this pendant becomes a symbol of continuity, holding both personal and collective history.

Bog oak brings grounding and protection; sarsen brings endurance and place-memory. Together, they form a talisman for those walking their path with awareness of where they come from.

Lots of Fun!
My Toy Cavapoo loves her bunnies. Good size for small dogs. She enjoys pulling each bunny out and tossing around. Bunnies also squeak which is a big plus for her.

Brilliant fun for dog, except for...
I have a 3yo German Shepherd Dog (GSD) and he can be very hard on toys. On days 1 and 2 he had such fun and we laughed at his good times! Then...Day 3...cue the Jaws Music... While I was away for 10 minutes, he dismantled the ball into tiny pieces! Even so, the ball continued to light up, make sounds and entertain my GSD!! Coolest dog toy ever! If you have a heavy chewer....watch out! Otherwise, I highly recommend!!

Disappointing Dog Toy – Short-Lived and Ineffective
I purchased this dog toy hoping it would keep my dog entertained and engaged, but unfortunately, it has been a huge disappointment. The first one I received only worked for about an hour before completely stopping. I decided to give it another chance and ordered a second one, hoping it was just a fluke. Unfortunately, the second one lasted even shorter—only 30 minutes—before completely ceasing to function. It no longer vibrates, rotates, or interacts in any way. Even when fully charged, the toy barely lights up and doesn’t do anything useful. This is a terrible product, and I’m genuinely shocked by the positive reviews. Save your money—this toy is not worth it.

My dog loves it
My Aussie loves it and he is a tough chewer as well, so it goes great with his hyper reactive personality. Durability could have been a little better, sometimes I have to take it apart and make sure it’s still in a good position because my dog will pick it up and drop it. With no cushion it did start malfunctioning at about 2 weeks. However, it does still work fine and he loves it even without the movement. Note if you put it in a sock to protect it, my dog goes dangerous and held the sock and created a slingshot lol.
