The wine is sourced from 60-year-old Chardonnay vines on the steep, southeast-facing slopes of Valmur, a terroir of limestone and marl that yields fruit with both density and precision. Fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel, it reflects a focus on clarity and mineral expression rather than oak influence.
The 2023 vintage is full-bodied and layered, showing remarkable mid-palate amplitude balanced by vibrant acidity. Aromas of beeswax, grapefruit zest and ripe pear open into a palate of chalk, citrus and subtle saline tension. This is a wine built for patience, powerful yet controlled, concentrated yet lifted.
