Textile Origin Story:

It was ancient and covered entirely with patches of rusted metal. I took dozens of photos of the surface. Years later I created this design from those photos. I love how in certain colors it looks like leather. Later versions of this textile took on a very different look emulating a Moroccan influence. Those pieces Ash Lee, Jackie, and TOSU.
