Goats Head Soup est le onzième album des Rolling Stones, il sort le 31 août 1973, et connait un immense succès grâce à la ballade Angie. Il est enregistré à Kingston, Londres et Los Angeles. Malgré son succès commercial, l’album est aujourd’hui moins considéré que Let It Bleed , Sticky Fingers et Exile On Main Street.

Cette réédition permet de remettre en lumière ce magnifique opus des Stones, et le groupe nous donne accès à trois titres inédits qui feront saliver tous les fans. Le premier est Scarlet sur lequel Jimmy Page de Led Zeppelin vient prêter main forte, puis, viennent All The Rage et Criss Cross. Les autres bonus sont des versions alternatives avec des mixes différents des autres titres de l’album ainsi que le Live très recherché The Brussel Affair.
