Designed by Yamaha to bridge professional audio and IT networks, the SWR2100P-10G is a purpose-built Layer 2 Ethernet switch with PoE that supports modern networked audio installations. It focuses on delivering deterministic, low-latency data transport to keep IP audio streams stable across large venues, studios, and broadcasting facilities. The SWR2100P-10G is engineered to integrate tightly with Yamaha LAN Monitor, a dedicated PC application that provides real-time visibility into network health, device status, and traffic patterns. This tight integration means engineers can configure, monitor, and troubleshoot audio networks efficiently, reducing downtime during live events and precious studio sessions. In short, the SWR2100P-10G combines familiar Ethernet management with audio-specific features to simplify deployment, enhance reliability, and future-proof installed systems.

  • Engineered as a simple Layer 2 switch with PoE, the SWR2100P-10G delivers reliable data transport suitable for professional audio deployments. It supports essential switch features with an emphasis on low latency, deterministic forwarding, and stability necessary for real-time audio streams such as Dante or AES67. The PoE capability reduces cabling complexity by powering compatible endpoint devices directly from the switch, simplifying installation in multi-room venues, broadcast studios, and live venues. By focusing on audio-first networking, this model minimizes jitter and packet loss that can degrade performance in busy networks. This combination of reliability and power efficiency makes it an ideal choice for venues that demand consistent audio quality alongside robust data performance.
  • Yamaha LAN Monitor compatibility ensures engineers have a clear, centralized view of the network. This dedicated PC application provides real-time per-port status, device discovery, and intuitive controls for configuring VLANs and traffic priorities—without juggling multiple vendor tools. The tight integration helps shorten setup times and speeds fault finding when streaming audio shows or cues across rooms. LAN Monitor brings a level of network visibility tailored to audio environments, enabling technicians to map routes for audio traffic, verify switch health at a glance, and quickly adjust configurations to accommodate changing show requirements or studio layouts.
  • Audio-focused features like VLAN support, QoS prioritization, and multicast handling help preserve audio quality under load. The switch is designed to keep critical control and audio traffic on high-priority lanes while isolating non-essential data. This ensures stable audio delivery during complex productions, rehearsals, or large venue events with many networked devices. With multicast and IGMP snooping capabilities, the SWR2100P-10G helps ensure audio streams reach the right destinations without flooding the network, reducing interference and improving scalability as more endpoints come online.
  • Robust hardware designed for rental houses, studios, and installation sites. The SWR2100P-10G is built in a compact, durable chassis with reliable thermal design to maintain performance in temperature variations and 24/7 operation. While sound quality is the priority, the device also emphasizes power efficiency and quiet operation, keeping equipment rooms comfortable and free of distracting noise. The PoE capability supports a range of endpoints—from wall plates to ceiling loudspeakers and controllers—without requiring separate power adapters, which simplifies rack space planning and field deployments.
  • Scalability and flexible deployment options let you integrate the SWR2100P-10G into existing Yamaha ecosystems or standalone networked audio setups. It supports future expansion with straightforward management, VLAN segmentation, and clear performance metrics, enabling venues and studios to adapt as their audio networks grow. This makes it a prudent choice for long-term investments in installed systems and touring equipment fleets, where dependable performance and easy maintenance translate into reduced downtime and smoother productions.

Technical Details of Yamaha SWR2100P-10G Ethernet Switch

How to install Yamaha SWR2100P-10G Ethernet Switch

To deploy the SWR2100P-10G in a typical networked-audio environment, follow these practical steps designed for speed and reliability:

  • Plan your network topology carefully. Define a dedicated management path, assign a management VLAN if your network supports segmentation, and earmark separate VLANs for audio streams to prevent cross-traffic with data-only devices.
  • Mount and physically connect the switch. Place it in a rack or a suitable enclosure, connect the power supply, and run Ethernet cabling from the switch to audio devices, control surfaces, and core network uplinks. Use shielded CAT6A/CAT7 cables where possible to minimize latency and interference in performance-critical environments.
  • Power over Ethernet setup. If your audio endpoints support PoE, connect them to PoE-capable ports on the SWR2100P-10G. Monitor PoE budgets to ensure all devices receive adequate power without exceeding the switch’s PoE limits, which helps maintain stable performance during long sessions or events.
  • Configure via Yamaha LAN Monitor. Install the LAN Monitor application on a dedicated management PC, then discover the SWR2100P-10G, assign VLANs, set traffic priorities, and enable any audio-specific rules that prioritize latency-sensitive streams. Use LAN Monitor to verify port status, monitor traffic loads, and adjust QoS settings as your installation evolves.
  • Test and validate. After configuration, verify all connected audio devices are reachable, test live-streamed audio for latency and jitter, confirm multicast streams reach intended endpoints, and ensure critical audio packets are prioritized. Perform a follow-up check after a live event or studio session to confirm stability and address any changes in traffic patterns.

Nice table, good find for use with umbrella
Size: g:Square Table with Umbrella Hole, Color: Teak
Really like this for my deck umbrella. Nice color. Be mindful of the room underneath for how you will set up a base so that it fits. Didn't take too long to put together. Only item I wasn't most thrilled with was hearing what I would describe as metal shavings in the tubes of the table legs/sides when rotating them so to speak.

Color is not the same as picture, too light, assembly is harder than it should be
Size: g:Square Table with Umbrella Hole, Color: Light Grey
I had higher hopes for this table given the 80 dollar price tag. The gray finish is MUCH brighter than what is displayed in the picture. What's advertised matched the gray Adirondack set that I currently have in my yard, what came in was about 5 shades lighter. The assembly only had a few steps to it with a total of 8 bolts but it was more difficult that it had to be has the holes didn't line up very well and I actually had to bend one of the metal pieces to get the screw to line up. I ordered this piece initially to serve two purposes, the first was to add more stability to my ever blowing over umbrella, the second was to add a matching table piece in-between my two Adirondack chairs. This piece does neither very well. It is too light in color to match and serve to complete the set, and it is not heavy enough to add any layer of stability. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this piece.

Nice, but...
Size: g:Square Table with Umbrella Hole, Color: Black
Second one I bought. So I do like it, but for the price they could include an extra screw and washer. Also it would be much more convenient if the holes would line up correctly. That's why I gave only 3 stars. But it is a nice table.
