These Darby-style handcuffs follow a classic construction with a single locking position. Their design reflects an older restraint principle that differs clearly from modern ratchet-based handcuffs.
Unlike most contemporary cuffs, these Darby handcuffs do not use a snap mechanism. Both opening and closing require the use of the key, giving the restraint a more deliberate and mechanical handling.
The key features an external thread, also known as the Sheffield style, which sets this model apart from many other Darby shackles. The spring-loaded bolt engages only when turned with the key, resulting in a fixed, consistent lock position.
Available in two size options to accommodate different wrist dimensions.
