Our sun stick contains 20% non-nano zinc oxide [the same amount found in many SPF 30 sunscreens], which reflects the suns rays and does not absorb into the skin. Added sun protection is provided by red raspberry seed oil and carrot seed oil.
* This product will melt in heat. Please try to keep cool. If heated, place upright back at room temperature.
* This product has not been tested for SPF.
Ingredients
Grass Fed/Finished Beef Tallow (no hormones and antibiotics) - 100% grass fed/finished. Heals and soothes, packed with a ton of skin compatible vitamins and nutrients. Anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial. Known to provide some SPF.
Organic Coconut Oil - Known for its antimicrobial properties and some SPF.
Non-Nano Zinc Oxide - Creates a barrier to reflect and absorb UVA and UVB rays off the skin. Contains trace minerals necessary for repairing damaged skin. Non-nano zinc oxide provides larger particles to sit on top of the skin, aiding in a barrier effect.
Organic Beeswax - Beeswax repels moisture making water and sweat bead off your skin. It is also an excellent hydration and skin soother.
Red Raspberry Seed Oil - May provide sun protection. It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as high in vitamin A.
Organic Carrot Seed Oil - May provide sun protection. It has antioxidant and antibacterial properties.
How to Use
Apply generously before sun exposure and swimming. Reapply every 1 hour or as needed, especially after swimming, sweating, or towel drying. Store in a cool, dry place—avoid prolonged heat exposure.
