The 250 GTO from the 1960s exerts a very special fascination on Ferrari fans. With it, the Scuderia succeeded in creating the racing car of the century, which still enjoys cult status today – because of its many sporting successes as well as its timeless elegance.Delivered new to the great British racing team owner John Coombs with a bianco (white) livery in 1962, chassis 3729GT got piloted by the most prominent drivers throughout the 1962 and 1963 seasons, including Roy Salvadori, Graham Hill, Mike Parkes, Mike McDowell, Mike Salmon, Jack Sears, and Richie Ginther. Coombs also campaigned this right-hand-drive 250 GTO at world-renowned circuits, such as Brands Hatch, Goodwood, Silverstone, Mallory Park, Snetterton, and so on. Then it was briefly raced by the new owner Viscount Portman before it was retired from contemporary racing. Among the subsequent owners was its original driver Jack Sears, who held onto chassis 3729 from 1970 till selling it to the current American owner.
The accolades garnered on chassis 3729GT include multiple second OA standings as well as first- and second-place class wins. M-251 was none other than chassis 3729GT as it was raced by Graham Hill to a 2nd OA and 2nd GT Class finish at Goodwood with start number #10 on August 18, 1962.

A Good Starting Point
Format: Paperback
I have experience with 3D modeling software and am an experienced programmer. It took me two days to get through the book, and I learned quite a bit about Godot. It would likely take someone completely new to this sort of software quite a bit longer. You could certainly dig up all the information in this book online, but this book walks you through the basics step-by-step and I recommend it as a starting point that isn't going to overwhelm you. I have just ordered the rest of the books in the series.

An excellent and easy intro to Godot
Format: Kindle
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn the sleek, open-source game engine Godot. The engine has so many features but learning the interface and workings of a new engine can be intimidating. This book knocks down that barrier and takes you through learning the interface, in getting comfortable with creating 3d objects, creating a 3d terrain and setting up a maze. It includes a link to resources to get you started. It is a good, basic intro and I'm looking forward to learning more.

The book is missing page 60 in the Kindle edition
Format: Kindle
I actually think the book is really good. I also like the way the content is divided into several books to make the cost of each book inexpensive. However, the Kindle edition that I purchases is missing page 60. I don't know if this was intentional or an oversight. I really want to give the book 4 or 5 stars. I gave it one in hopes of getting someone's attention. I will update this review and change the number of stars once I get an answer about page 60.

Perfect for beginners to explore with a minimum investment if making video games is for you
Format: Kindle
As an absolute beginner I found the book perfect for anyone that wants to explore the making of video games without having to studying lot of software programming.
Prior to this I also read the similar book on Unity and found that for an absolute beginner this is perhaps a more gentle introduction. Godot seems to be at this level simpler than Unity as all the necessary elements to make a meaningful game are self contained.
Patrick is an excellent teacher and drives you step by step to the point where you would be able to create on your own a multi scene 3D environment. Just getting there is very satisfying as I was able to surprise friends and family on my new acquired skill. Clearly after tasting what you can do with this book you must commit to some level of learning of software and this is where you need to ask yourself if your "exploration" is over or you are so thrilled you want to become a pro. This is entirely up to you, Patrick has shown you the way with a minimum investment of time and money, good luck whatever you decide to do.

Good introduction, but outdated now with Godot 4
Format: Kindle
It was a great introduction to Godot 3, but now after Godot 4 is out, the water plugin doesn’t work anymore used in the book.
