De Blue Herring is een exclusieve collectie van zes keramische haringen, elk voorzien van een unieke, met de hand gedecoreerde Delfts Blauwe illustratie. Ontworpen als echte blikvanger voor aan de muur, vormt deze serie een bijzondere mix van traditioneel vakmanschap en eigentijds design.

Royal Delft lanceerde deze collectie in 2024 in samenwerking met het Nederlandse ontwerpduo Koens & Middelkoop. Elke haring vertelt een eigen verhaal en brengt de rijke Hollandse haringcultuur tot leven in een nieuw jasje. De zes varianten – Peacock Scales, Dragonfly Flower, Mesdag’s Fleet, Flower Scales, Art Deco en Flower Bed – tonen elk een eigen stijl, variërend van florale patronen tot maritieme scènes, geïnspireerd door onder andere de beroemde schilderijen van Hendrik Willem Mesdag en de iconische Peacock Symphony-collectie van Royal Delft.

De haringen zijn eenvoudig aan de muur te bevestigen met een meegeleverde kurk en spijker – inclusief duidelijke instructies.
