Time to roll up those sleeves and get building! Our Construction Playdough Kit is perfect for little tradies who love dump trucks, diggers and hands-on play. 

Each kit includes 2 x approx. 200g jars of our signature Sensory Bliss Playdough — one in vibrant yellow and one in bold orange. Our homemade playdough is soft, long-lasting, and made from natural, food-safe ingredients with child-friendly flavouring instead of essential oils. It’s gentle on little hands and full of sensory fun! 

Included in the kit: 

Our 3D printed tools are made from eco-friendly PLA plastic — safe, durable and designed just for little hands. The standout roller features raised construction vehicles that imprint right into the dough, while the STOP sign stamp on top adds a fun finishing touch. 

The Activity Playdough Mats are laminated, meaning they’re wipeable and reusable — perfect for repeated play and easy cleanup. They encourage creativity, imagination and fine motor skill development in a fun, screen-free way.

⭐ Natural Playdough – Shelf Life & Care Information

At Sensory Bliss, all of our playdough is handmade in small batches using natural, taste-safe ingredients. Because we don’t use artificial preservatives or stabilisers, our dough behaves just like fresh homemade dough would at home.

This means that while it’s wonderfully soft, safe and beautifully scented, it does have a shorter shelf life than commercial playdough.

Shelf Life

When stored correctly, our natural playdough typically stays fresh for:

✔ 6–10 weeks from purchase

Shelf life can vary depending on:

• the climate and humidity in your home

• how airtight the container remains

• storage temperature

• whether it’s opened soon after purchase or kept for later

Over time, natural playdough may:

• lighten or darken in colour

• become firmer or slightly dry

• occasionally develop mould if moisture enters the container or if stored for an extended period

👉 For best results, we recommend using your playdough within 6–10 weeks and avoiding long-term storage before gifting.

Storage Instructions

To keep your dough at its best:

• Store in the airtight container provided

• Keep in a cool, dry place (avoid heat, moisture and direct sunlight)

• If any mould appears, please discard the dough immediately

If you are ordering ahead for parties or events, we always suggest placing your order close to your event date to ensure the dough is at peak freshness.
