Die Zubereitung von Tilda Basmati-Reis gelingt optimal, wenn Sie folgende Schritte befolgen:

  • Einweichen:
    Geben Sie den Reis in eine Schüssel, bedecken Sie ihn mit kaltem Wasser und lassen Sie ihn etwa 20 Minuten einweichen, damit die langen Körner die Feuchtigkeit optimal aufnehmen.

  • Reis abspülen:
    Gießen Sie das Wasser ab und spülen Sie den Tilda Basmati-Reis unter fließendem kalten Wasser gründlich ab, um überschüssige Stärke zu entfernen.

  • In den Topf geben:
    Füllen Sie den Reis in einen Topf und geben Sie die doppelte Menge an Wasser hinzu.

  • Garen:
    Kochen Sie den Reis auf und reduzieren Sie dann die Hitze. Lassen Sie den Reis bei geschlossenem Deckel etwa 10-12Minuten bei niedriger Temperatur sanft köcheln, sodass sich die Aromen optimal entfalten.

  • Nachgaren:
    Nehmen Sie den Topf vom Herd, lassen Sie den Reis etwa 5 Minuten ziehen.

  • Auflockern:
    Lockern Sie den Reis vor dem Servieren vorsichtig mit einer Gabel auf, um eine fluffige Konsistenz zu erzielen.
