COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Design & Develop Training Plans for Vocational Education course. This program is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to create effective training and session plans for vocational education and training (VET). By the end of this course, you will be well-prepared to design and develop structured plans that meet legislative and regulatory requirements, align with organisational policies, and address the needs of diverse learner groups.

We begin with an introduction to training and session plans, exploring the distinctions between overall training plans and session plans. Understanding these components is essential for creating comprehensive and cohesive training programs.

Legislative and VET regulatory requirements are crucial for compliance and quality assurance. This section covers the requirements of nationally recognised training products, the amount of training to provide to each learner and group, tailoring plans to target learner groups, ensuring legislative and regulatory compliance, and the importance of continuous improvement in training practices.

Organisational policies and procedures guide the design, development, and finalisation of vocational training plans. You will learn how to consult with required stakeholders to ensure that plans align with organisational goals and standards.

The National Register of VET is a vital resource for vocational training. This section explains its purpose and use in accessing information on training products and qualifications.

Instructional design principles provide a foundation for creating effective training plans. You will explore basic instructional design principles related to vocational training, ensuring that your plans are pedagogically sound and engaging.

Plans for vocational training must include specific content to be effective. This section covers the purpose and key content of training plans, strategies for engaging and progressing learners, creating a safe and inclusive environment, required skills and knowledge, and effective resource utilisation.

Training and assessment strategies are integral to vocational training plans. You will learn about the key components of these strategies and how to use them when designing and developing training plans.

Facilitation techniques that support and engage learners are essential for effective training delivery. This section covers various presentation methods, learning activities, and formative assessment activities to keep learners engaged and motivated.

Modes of delivery vary in their features and applications. You will explore the different modes of delivery and how their features are represented in vocational training plans, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for learners.

The relationship between training and assessment is critical for achieving learning outcomes. This section examines this relationship and its implications for designing and developing training plans.

Learner characteristics influence the design and development of training plans. You will learn to identify different types of learner characteristics and their implications for vocational training planning.

Interpreting units of competency is essential for aligning training with industry standards. This section covers the skill and knowledge requirements in the training products and the dimensions of competency that guide training practices and planning.

Companion volume implementation guides provide additional support for vocational training planning. You will explore the contents of these guides and how they relate to designing and developing training plans.

Learning theories and adult learning principles underpin effective vocational training. This section covers key learning theories and the principles of andragogy, helping you design training plans that cater to adult learners.

Sustainability considerations are increasingly important in vocational training. You will learn about environmental, social, and economic sustainability and how to integrate these considerations into curriculum and instruction.

Planning vocational training involves collaboration with stakeholders, identifying training objectives and outcomes, determining the mode of delivery and learning environment, and accessing specialist support as needed.

Designing a plan for vocational training requires interpreting training products, analysing units of competency, determining the training sequence, identifying engaging learning activities, evaluating existing resources, estimating training duration, and documenting the plan according to requirements and procedures.

Developing session plans for vocational training involves creating detailed session plans with varied facilitation techniques, reviewing session plans for required skills and knowledge, and documenting session plans in line with organisational policies and procedures.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills and knowledge to design and develop comprehensive vocational training plans that meet regulatory requirements, engage learners, and support their successful completion of training programs.

This course is designed to align with the content outlined in the Nationally Recognised Unit of Competency TAEDES412.

Fae Courts with High Intrigue
Format: Kindle
This book is one that just builds and builds and then surprises you to no end. You may think you know the villains and then you are jolted in another direction. Princess Reyna is a real gem, strong of character, a fierce fighter, and loyal to her family and kingdom. Just when you think she and Lorcan, well you know, the plot is flipped. Can't wait to see where this goes in book two.

Slow, sorry but good
Format: Kindle
This was a slow moving book. Lots of character pov chapters, lots of superfluous descriptions and endless courtly appearances stalled this book to start. Once you get into the heart of the story, it takes off. Before you know it the book is done. My favorite character is Reyna. She is so strong. She is true to herself. She gets into a lot of trouble with her headstrong ways but it's entertaining. I have high hopes for Lorcan. He is honorable to a fault. Thane had turned out to be better than I thought but i still don't like him. Eislin is useless. Great plot twists at the end. I'm looking forward too book 2.

Very detailed! Beautiful world building! Strong Heroine!
Format: Kindle
Starts off a little slow and confusing with different POV’s, but starts to all come together towards the middle to make an elaborate plot line and makes it all worth it. Beautiful world building and attention to detail as well as great writing. The cliffhanger was gut wrenching! Can’t wait for the next book!

Interesting
Format: Kindle
This was a very captivating book once you got into it thoroughly. But the third person perspective was a bit hard to get used to. But as you got into it and followed the different characters, it was interesting and filled with intrigue, conflict and forbidden love. I can’t wait to read the next one and to complete the series.

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.
