Legend has it that this was part of an extremely limited run and never made available to the general public.  Whether fact or myth, frankly we don't know as internet searches have turned up zilch.  If anyone has more information, I would appreciate their communicating it to us.  It's a great item, we got it new as a gift and wore it only once to the premiere of the first X-Men movie.  It has never seen the inside of a retail store as it came directly from a Marvel employee.

 

The size seems to be extra large.  The measurements are approximately 44" chest and 26" sleeve.  The label  that came with the jacket is shown below.  The inside tag at the neck cites the size as "bigger."

      

 

 As of this listing over 90% of all issues of Action Comics 282 thru 482, Worlds Finest 115 to 244, & Adventure Comics 300 to 430 & 441 to 454 are in stock.  Open to requests for individual issues!!!

    Rope comes out at the slightest force. Pointless tug toy!

    If your dog pulls on these (and why wouldn’t he?), the rope immediately comes out. Turns out they just fuse the ends of the nylon rope together, which is no match for a dog playing tug. Any dog, any level of pulling will dismantle these. We’ve managed to reinsert the rope to a couple of these and KNOT it, which gives you a shorter rope but a toy that can withstand some play. But if I had wanted a DIY toy, I’d have used the balls and rope I already own.
