Dog Is Love: Why and How Your Dog Loves YouA pioneering canine behaviorist draws on cutting edge research to show that a single, simple trait the capacity to love is what makes dogs such perfect companions for humans, and explains how we can better reciprocate their affection. A pioneering canine behaviorist draws on cutting-edge research to show that a single, simple trait--the capacity to love--is what makes dogs such perfect companions for humans, and explains how we can better reciprocate their affection. "Lively and fascinating . . . The reader comes away cheered, better informed, and with a new and deeper appreciation for our amazing canine companions and their enormous capacity for love." --Cat Warren, New York Times best-selling author of What the Dog Knows Does your dog love you? Every dog lover knows the feeling. The nuzzle of a dog's nose, the warmth of them lying at our feet, even their whining when they want to get up on the bed. It really seems like our dogs love us, too. But for years, scientists have resisted that conclusion, warning against anthropomorphizing our pets. Enter Clive Wynne, a pioneering canine behaviorist whose research is helping to usher in a new era: one in which love, not intelligence or submissiveness, is at the heart of the human-canine relationship. Drawing on cutting-edge studies from his lab and others around the world, Wynne shows that affection is the very essence of dogs, from their faces and tails to their brains, hormones, even DNA. This scientific revolution is revealing more about dogs' unique origins, behavior, needs, and hidden depths than we ever imagined possible. A humane, illuminating book, Dog Is Love is essential reading for anyone who has ever loved a dog--and experienced the wonder of being loved back.Binding Type: Paperback

Purrrfect for a Pitbull or Am Staff Terrier
Size: Large, Size: Large
Large size
Dog: Am Staff about 50-55 lbs
She ruin all her toys in less than 3-5 minutes except this one. Again, we use this toys with guidance and support.
Cons: Definitely built to last but must not be left unattended because we all know what our pitbull and Am Staff is capable of doing with their teeth. It has many feature, squeaky sections the sensory of the ball inside, weighted, and puncture proof, top and bottom option to carry this dog during a fetch game. Easy to clean.
Cons: if left unattended this is not a chewing proof toy for 6-8 hours. That is not what is made for. This is an engagement toy you have to do with your fur friend.

Entertaining and durable
Size: Large
Great toy and quality. My dog that was a bit of a ruffian with his toys loved this toy. It lasted through his wild days so I bought my current baby one. Unfortunately she hates it. She wants the ball trapped inside but hates the sound of the outer and won't go near it or even let it touch her. Granted she is a bit...eccentric. All larger dogs I have ever seen with one love it. It is very durable. Really serious chewers may need supervision but average big chewers should be fine.

It is surviving a Mal Pitty and Shepherd
Size: Large
Two handles for them to carry with. Squeaky toy that my shepherd Mal or Pitty hasn’t gotten out so far after five weeks.
Plays with it constantly. Starting to see small chunks come out but longest lasting most played with toy they’ve ever had.

Great but my dogs tear up the handle
Size: Medium
My dogs love this toy. It squeaks and is fun for fetch. The only downfall is my dogs are able to chew pieces of the rubber off the handle and try to eat it.

Great toy!
Size: Large
This is the best Torrey I’ve ever bought for my dogs! I bought two of them and they both love them! One is more of an aggressive chewer so this is perfect. It’s very durable. They both love that that rolls it has a handle, it has a ball inside and it squeaks so it keeps their attention for a long time and it’s extremely durable best toy ever.
