Kid Congo and The Pink Monkey Birds' fourth full-length for In The Red Records, La Araña Es La Vida, feels the Mexican muse of The Great Spider Goddess of Teoticuhan, who sprouts hallucinogenic morning glories and protects the underworld-or in Kid's eyes, the world of underground music. Recorded at The Harveyville High School gym in Kansas, this self-produced album finds guitar slinger and singer Kid Congo Powers (The Gun Club, The Cramps, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds), bassist Kiki Solis (Knife in The Water, Rhythm of Black Lines) and drummer Ron Miller (Switch Hitter, Up The Academy) joined by Chicano-Mosrite-playing guitarist Mark Cisneros (Medications, Deathfix). La Araña Es La Vida rocks 'n' rolls its way through a planet of glamazons ("Psychic Future"), blisters with the tricks of a "Magic Machine," then gets to work out a low-rider groove on "Chicano Studies." Tales of gender-bending disembodied heads, gente from La Puente and even a TCB-era Elvis-inspired rave up on "Karate Monkey" are merely a smattering of the mythic magic on this platter! The world is a wild and wooly place and with the help of La Araña Kid Congo and The Pink Monkey Birds will continue to reflect it. Orale! Living La Vida Araña!

Smells great, and absorbs well! Love it!

This product is great. I use it on my goatee. It smells great and makes my beard and mustache nice and soft. I can't stop touching it. I wasn't sure what particular fragrance to pick, so I randomly chose Majestic Oud. Sometimes the ladies don't like kissing a guy with facial hair, but they do when it smells good, and it's soft! It absorbs well; you just have to work it in. Best when the beard is softened after you wash your face, or after a shower. Wish this product came in a larger size, but a little goes a long way, after all, it's oil. If you want a touchable, tamed beard, I think this is a good one. It's all natural, good quality, and not at all sticky or gooey. It's not messy; it absorbs into the beard quickly. You still have to wash your hands, or just rub it into your hands.

This just plain ans awesome product, not does it not do what it calaims the I do not feel the need for aftershave or cologne as the smell is most excellent and Viking. (lol) I love it and post the stickers "Viking revoulution" all over my tavel trailer.
It is a truly effective, useful, delightfuly scent, oil and brand.
I will be a life long consumer..

Good product does what it says

Picked up the Viking Revolution Beard Oil for Men - Natural Mens Beard Oil with Argan Oil and after reading through several options. It performs well for what I need it to do. Packaging was solid and it arrived in good shape. Only minor gripe is that the instructions could be a bit clearer but it was not a big deal to figure out.
