The EVP Captain’s Choice Slip-On Exhaust is the industry’s first production electric "cut-out" style exhaust for the Can-Am Maverick X3. Proudly handcrafted in the U.S.A. from TIG-welded 304 stainless steel, this system offers the ultimate "best of both worlds" experience: a quiet, near-factory idle when closed, and a raw, high-performance roar from the 3-cylinder Rotax engine when open.

Unlike systems that rely on unreliable wireless key fobs, the Captain’s Choice features a plug-and-play wiring harness and a custom dash-mounted switch for instantaneous, tactile control over your exhaust note.

Performance & Sound Versatility

  • Variable Sound Profile: With the cut-out valve closed, the exhaust purrs only slightly louder than the OEM unit. With the valve open, the system transitions to a wide-open, race-inspired roar.

  • Power Gains: Unlocking the cut-out can net up to 6 additional horsepower, depending on your vehicle's tune and boost levels.

  • Premium Internals: Each muffler is custom-built with a specialized packing system designed to last the entire lifespan of your vehicle.

  • Integrated Safety: High-flow spark arrestors are included to ensure trail compliance and safety.

Rear Styling & Installation Options

The Captain’s Choice system offers two distinct ways to finish the rear of your Maverick X3:

Keep Rear Valence OEM-Integrated Includes a Black Powder-Coated Block-Off Plate with Red, White, and Brushed Aluminum EVP logo accents. (Requires minor trimming of the side valence).
Delete Rear Valence Open/Race Look Includes a Signature Aluminum Heat Shield available in Red or Black powder coat (custom colors also possible).

Engineering & Compatibility

  • Quality Construction: Built using the finest 304 Stainless Steel and precision TIG-welded for maximum durability in off-road environments.

  • Simplified Wiring: The included electronic harness is 100% plug-and-play, making the electrical installation straightforward and reliable.

  • Support: Detailed instructions are included to guide you through both the mechanical swap and the dash-switch wiring.

Technical Note: Due to the unique exit path of the Captain’s Choice system, it may not be compatible with certain aftermarket rear bumper installations. Please verify clearance if you have a non-OEM bumper.

Instantly Needed More...

Tuesday James... lord have MERCY!! I cannot believe this was your first book, to think that you are just getting started terrifies me and leaves me on the edge of my seat! The absolute chokehold that this book has had on me... cannot be put into words. I waited for this book to be released. I saw teaser reels on IG and saved it on my TBR and patiently waited. The moment it became available I DEVOURED it! I read it in one day, and it is definitely in my top favorites of all time and I read a lot. I love a romance book that has a deeper, twisty, trauma filled plot. I like a book about people some would call damaged, (with jagged edges 😉) that have tons of baggage and are an ever evolving work in progress. Maddox and Evie had me from the jump. I have a soft spot for victims of domestic violence and all other forms of abuse as I grew up in a similar environment and when I say that this book captured and represented victims of DV beautifully, I mean it with my whole chest. I saw so many similarities in Evie that I could relate to and how she didn't want to be saved she wanted someone to stand beside her... and boy oh boy was that Maddox Wilder! Maddox is haunted by his own ghosts and after meeting Evie they bond over their pasts and push each other to be better. Evie is the definition of a single mom doing the very best that she can, and I loved every second of sweetness Tuesday shared of her adorable twin boys. I found myself thinking several times, I want to be in Evie and Louisiana's friend circle. This book is angsty, full of funny banter, suspenseful, filled with little boy cuteness/silliness and full of all the steamy good parts. Definitely read the trigger warnings, as it explores darker themes and may not be for everyone. For me this one was a 12 out of 10 and Tuesday James will be an automatic read for me. Do not even get me started on my anticipation for Mr. Mercy Wilder because do not have words. I also CANNOT WAIT for Louisiana's book, I fell in love with her instantly. Do yourself a favor and read this book, it had all the things. And Tuesday, please do us all favor and keep writing books like this one that embed in my brain and I cannot stop thinking about!!
