The versatile AltRider Rear Luggage Rack is as functional as it is stylish. It is the only design on the market that can be mounted directly to the passenger handle, or in a lower position to bring down the center of gravity – neither require additional brackets or subframes. When mounted in the lower position, the rear luggage rack has the added bonus of providing protection for the rear blinkers if the bike goes down. The rack attaches using provided hardware and existing bolt holes.  All fasteners are recessed in the rack, creating a completely smooth luggage surface. The cutouts are strategically placed to give plentiful mounting points while maintaining the strength of the rack. Pre-drilled holes allow the AltRider Rear Luggage Rack to interface with RotopaX fuel packs and RAM mounts for getting great actions shots with your camera. Givi Top Cases can also be mounted using the Givi Top Case Mounting Kit - saving you the cost of an expensive adapter plate.

The AltRider Rear Luggage Rack is precision manufactured from 3/16 inch (4.76 mm) anodized aluminum. All edges are laser cut and CNC-routered to ensure a refined machine finish with no sharp corners to cut straps. Available in anodized silver or black finish. 

The Rear Luggage Rack is compatible with BMW Vario side cases when mounted in the upper position only. It is compatible with the BMW R 1200 /1250 GS Adventure mounted in the lower position (requires removal of stock steel top box rack -- compatible with steel pannier racks).
