Compound Information
This listing is for Pagid Racing compound RST 4. Each Pagid Racing compound has its own friction profile and intended use, so compound choice should always match the vehicle setup and driving environment.
Technical Description
The RST 4 is engineered to deliver dependable, controlled performance when consistency and predictability are key. As part of Pagid’s RST family, designed for rally, sprint, and stock car racing, it offers a balanced medium friction level, strong modulation and fade resistance, and durability over demanding sessions. Constructed from a semi-metallic, resin-bonded compound, the RST 4 aims for a smooth, progressive torque curve that feels natural under pedal. Its medium friction level combined with high thermal tolerance means you get good stopping power with less risk of sudden fade when disc temperatures soar. Originally developed for formula and open-wheel racing, RST 4 also works as a rear-axle compound for rally tarmac & gravel and as a supplemental pad for front-engine race cars needing balanced braking behavior.
