A cool piece of early ’90s American pedal history, this genuine USA-made DOD FX58 Metal Maniac delivers the high-gain distortion tones that made these bright yellow DOD pedals so distinctive.

Produced between 1989 and 1993, the FX58 shares much of its circuitry with the earlier FX56 American Metal and offers a raw, aggressive distortion voice with simple controls for Level, Presence and Distortion.

This example is fully functional and sounds exactly as it should. Cosmetically it shows plenty of honest wear from over 30 years of use, with paint loss and marks throughout as pictured. Two of the original knob caps are missing, although the controls operate correctly.

A great addition for collectors of vintage DOD pedals, fans of old-school metal tones, or anyone looking for a quirky USA-made distortion pedal with genuine character.
