Description:
Cortec® EcoAir® BioCorr® is a water-based, biobased and biodegradable rust preventative that is intended for temporary preservation of metals in storage and during transportation. It provides multi-metal protection and is an environmentally sound alternative to petroleum derived products. Unlike rust preventative oils, this product leaves a dry film on the surface of the metal that is virtually undetectable. Contains no chlorinated compounds, chromates or nitrites.

Packaging:
EcoAir® BioCorr® Rust Preventative is packaged in 12 oz. (340 g) compressed air spray cans. Sold individually or in a box containing 12 cans. Store at room temperature. Do not let the product freeze. Also available in liquid version as Cortec® BioCorr® - Water Based Biodegradable Rust Preventative. 

EcoAir® Technology:
EcoAir® spray cans cans are powered by compressed air. This innovative technology consists in a four-layer EcoPouch inserted into a can. Then the can is pressurized and the EcoPouch is filled with the liquid. As the valve is depressed the surrounding pressure expels the bag’s internal fluids until the product is used up. EcoAir® products are non-flammable and contain no chemical propellants. They can be sprayed in any direction, even upside down.

How to Use:
Shake well before use. For best results, spray a thin, even coating. The product can be removed with a water rinse or alkaline cleaners, such as Cortec® VpCI®-414.

Typical Applications:
Use EcoAir® BioCorr® for rust prevention on cast iron, sheets, coils, pipes, flanges, gears. Ideal as temporary coating during shipment and storage, and as a biodegradable preservative for machines and equipment.
